Senior Analyst; Multimedia

Reporting To: VP, Multimedia

Location: El Segundo, CA

Scope and Responsibilites

- Research and create market research deliverables, including topical reports, market tracker reports, and customer-specific projects.

- Develop & maintain expertise in specific multimedia and service provider areas, including digital video, music and gaming, and/or wired and mobile network operators

- Develop & maintain market databases reflecting subscribers, revenues, transactions, penetration and other facts associated with multimedia and service provider areas.

- Contribute to the preparation of product description and product marketing information relating to multimedia & service provider areas

- Contribue to sales and marketing activities to promote the business success of multimedia and service provider products 

Qualifications

- Developed industry and market expertise in one or more of the following: the media industry, TV/video creation & distribution, digital music & distribution, video gaming, broadband services, mobile/cellular services or related category of above.

- Strong analytical, market research, critical thinking, and financial modeling skills

- Strong communications skills, particularly writing ability 

Requirements

- 5-10 years industry experience in a media, service provider, technology, or related market research company; Preferably in a marketing, product marketing, strategic planning or market research role.

- Demonstrated writing ability

Education

Minimum Bachelers degree.  MBA preferred.
